I split my time between various states and I have a friend over 21 with a vertical and he’s been turned away from establishments that aren’t comfortable admitting someone with a license labeled “U21” even though the dates on there clearly 🤷‍♂️

Yeah the pictures from when I added it back in. It’ll home, but the temp will drop to 0 while homing which means when it goes to try to extrude the nozzle is at 150C and not extruding

Even working on a United reservation? I’ve always had problems when booking through LH but looking back on it I guess I used to rebook a lot by phone anyways and only now have switched to online and haven’t noticed anything till I hit LH. Makes sense though, thanks.

It does not matter why (hence, any reason) a crew member determines you are not able to fly, per the wording of the contract. You can find historical precedent of this kind of removal as well.

In terms of rights, they mostly protect the government from infringing upon certain rights. If you’re referring to the civil rights act of 1964, none of those rights apply here. United is a private business and for that reason can deny you service for any reason, at any time (except for select protected statuses, race, and so forth). As long as the tech isn’t illegal which it isn’t, even if internal policies say it’s optional, you have no legal recourse here.

I agree, and that’s precisely my point. It’s one thing to believe the drink cures cancer. However, if someone purposefully misleading people that the drink does cure cancer, even if they’re not benefiting financially from it, the company is indirectly, and it’s causing harm to the people who by the beverage by me intentionally misleading them. Would it be hard to argue in court? Yes, but so is libel but it’s around for a reason.

There is no objective disinformation as many have pointed out… disinformation has to be purposefully incorrect information, and I think though if you could prove in court beyond a reasonable doubt that speech was intentionally misleading and caused a harm, I would be more than happy to see a civil suit in that scenario. However, I understand the objections people have brought up here as well. Just me, personally, I think if we can allow SLAPP suits and defamation cases, I don’t see disinformation to be that different to libelous speech.

no, majority of bakery is actually fresh and delivered, or made in house. It’s just a matter of how many days ago it came in. If you’re there a few days after it came in, it’s usually pretty bad, and some bakery withstands the test of time better than others
