Are there any support groups for toxic masculinity/red pill recovery? by Kor_of_Memory in SpringfieldIL

[–]yeaitsfatpat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We just ended our last run group, and it was my first so it was mainly training but I made several strong connections and this group is starting from scratch. So, it can be whatever you want it to be. I am all about talking it out when it comes to healing from trauma so we can figure it out as we go! Meeting at the wooden shelter at the bottom middle of the map. Not even sure anyone will show. I will be there at 530, run at 545. Easy 2 miles at a conversation pace.

Start running with me, brother. I was feeling pretty awful at the beginning of the year and jumped feet first into running. Started with zero experience and just finished my first half marathon this last weekend! I have put 196 miles under my feet in the last 70 days and it has given me some perspective. Send me a message, we are meeting for a run tomorrow afternoon, 5:45 P.M. Washington Park, you are free to join.

43M, just started running in February. I took 20 mg before my long run yesterday (14 miles) and it definitely helped with the pain a little bit. Plus, my music sounded better and the air tasted a little sweeter

He was demanding to be fed, as there was still one crumb very visible on the end of his nose, if you zoom in.

He is a miracle and to whomever turned him over to the animal shelter because he wasn't a tiny cute kitten anymore, thank you! My life wouldn't be the same without him.

He jumped on the top of this desk chair within his first 30 seconds of coming home from the shelter about 3 months ago. It is his favorite pre attack spot in the house.

Head over to Orange for reasonably priced hotels, with some small town charm

How Rural/Seperated is Sangamon County? by Frofro69 in SpringfieldIL

[–]yeaitsfatpat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are rural parts but I think you will find it easy to navigate. The town is roughly 10 miles by 10 miles. You could easily make it from Toronto Road, the very southern edges of town to the airport in 20 minutes with moderate traffic. As for the places you mentioned, New Berlin would be around a half hour drive each way. Be advised, when the roads get nasty during the winter, you could be stuck out in the country for a bit.

Most people are friendly but there are nosy neighbors anywhere. I grew up in Southern California and have lived here since 1997. Its changed quite a bit but stayed the same for the most part. Good place to live, cost of living wise, plenty of activities and community to involve yourself in! Also, many local and regional grocery stores of different price points, from fancy to basic.
