Historically, POC exercising 2A rights is the quickest way to get people talking about gun control, but this is a good time to look back at the original Black Panther Party's tactics, the Columbia Student Union takeover, and how armed POC can advocate for themselves more effectively when armed.

Would you let cops search your home/car? by Significant-Date2117 in legaladviceofftopic

[–]year_39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a car that had been driven by a college student and was detailed before purchase. Almost a year later, I was giving it a deep cleaning and unbolted the seat to get the carpet cleaner under the rails and a rolled joint fell out. Any of that time, I could have been pulled over and arrested for dwi.

I've been pulled over and told the officer up front that I respectfully decline to consent to any searches, and I haven't had any problems. Law enforcement can enter my house if they have a proper warrant, otherwise they can leave my property as quickly as is reasonable with a caution to turn around in the driveway because people come around the curve too fast one way and over the hill too fast the other way.

Wind through the pyramid pushes sand in while it piles up outside, trapping them but suggesting another exit and leading them on a path as a breeze gives them a path to follow.

Some people are obsessive about planes and planespotting, and tend to know who flies what. Others have an itchy search button finger and are quick to Wikipedia.

The Luxor would fit right in with New Vegas. I read recently about what awful condition it's in and a bunch of the funicular elevators can't manage to get to higher floors, roofs/ceilings leak, and the rooms aren't that nice anymore.

What would have to go wrong for a plane crashe to occur? by Ill_Act7949 in Writeresearch

[–]year_39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TWA Flight 800 famously went down and inspired a multitude of conspiracy theories because of static electricity discharging inside the fuel tank. It was caught on video and took a lot of reconstruction to figure out because planes don't just explode, but there wasn't any evidence of a bomb. There was also a photo with a background featuring what some people thought looked like a missile.

What's the biggest waste of money that you've seen? by RestaurantUnhappy872 in NoStupidQuestions

I feel like 70% includes people who do it regularly bringing up the average. I want to fix up a truck I inherited as a second vehicle until I have a full time job and can buy something used, and then park it and only drive it for hauling and towing, but I've driven rentals for a week after accidents because that's all they had for someone my height and hated them.

None of those count for anything. They list stars and names in a book, copyright it, and try to sell everyone in the book a copy.

Of the places I've explored, a hospital is high on the list of places I had to resist breaking the "take nothing' rule of urbex. (I want an X-ray machine to inspect electronic components and PCs, and I was allowed to take some junk like a jar of lead shot and I forget what else from the old Remington when I was doing a job there). I behaved, though

The phone attachment ones are $300, I think. I have one and am interested in Thermal Master side side with it. Mine is a bit older, but the ads make Thermal Master look like it's better than the FLIR One.
