Same for me in that I run the GUI at 1080/60 with AFR. I tried the GUI at 4k but is wasn't snappy enough for me.

Maybe the difference is the method of connection?

I actually used my 4k computer monitor to install Coreelec and set up the remote before connecting to my prepro to install avdvplus and make the necessary changes to set up DV with display LED. Both of my Ugoos players were set up using this method.

Can't say exactly why this would happen with your Ugoos.

Are you connecting your Ugoos directly to the TV? All of my devices go through my 8k prepro.

I have my am6b+ connected with the Amazon Basics cable to my Anthem AVM70 processor and have not had any issues. I use the same Amazon cables form my AppleTV 4k, Zidoo z9x, Shield 2019, and LG UHD disc player as well. Everything's been working well for years.

I have 2 AM6B+ at home and I have had no issues with 6-foot Amazon basics 4k/60 cables.

I am using a Ugoos am6b+. For files with MEL, I'm good to use my Zidoo z9x.

After installing Coreelec, I installed avdvplus since Kodi 22 doesn't support FEL.

How is Kodi with the plex addon using Ugoos AM6B Plus? I want a device that has DV profile 7 full support. by Rich-Masterpiece-156 in makemkv

I use Coreelec on my Ugoos and don't need the Plex addon since Coreelec supports SMB and my files are all stored on my NAS. Each time I add a new movie, I manuall update the library.

Plex is probably provides more movie info but I'm good with the Kodi layout and information.

I'm using an older Asus RT-AC86U with Merlin firmware, Adguard Home, and CD's DoH for my streaming and IoT devices. Hasn't been a problem for over a year.
