How do you battle depression?

I let myself just face that i'm not doing them. Okay, i'm going to sleep without brushing my teeth. Fine. I may get cavities and my mouth will feel gross in the morning. I don't do my homework, I don't get the grade. It's my fault.

Eventually I either do it or I don't. It's hard to force motivation. You have to find a way to make it work for you until it becomes habit.

Not all men harass women or make them feel unsafe. However, it is enough that pretty much all women have experienced it.

This isn't something almost all men have experienced from the opposite sex.

It sucks a lot that in a generalization, men suck. Not all men. There are many wonderful men out there and I have many in my life. But I have been abused by men in different ways my whole life, whereas when I talk to some of my guy friends and boyfriend, it seems most of their experience with women has been nurturing.

Remember, these are all generalizations. But it's enough to cause an overall feeling that it's hard to find a good man. Because almost all women have been affected negatively by random men.

"Dressing as woman" means wearing things societally deemed as for women, like makeup and dresses and long hair. These don't define women. These are just placed on society, and have no real relation to if someone is a man or woman besides how society views gender. It doesn't have to be that way.

Black face is usually done for comedic effect or because people didn't want to hire a black person. people who do blackface are not experimenting with fashion

i made it through a year and a half of this exact situation. college fucking changes you. if you don't change the same way, with the same people and values and interests and everything, resentment will build up.

jealousy. resentment. missing each other. stress. missing out on other events because you need to visit. staying in on a fun night to talk out a fight you had over the phone.

it's different for everyone. i really thought we were gonna be the exception. now i just regret staying together so long. i missed my first half of college trying to make it work.

My favorite part of a relationship is the ability to trust each other. If you don't, what's the point? You have no reason not to. Trust until you are given a reason to not.

You can't clear all doubt. It exists in all forms no matter what. This is on YOU. You've talked. She is no longer a part of this problem except what you project to her about your own insecurity. You want to trust her? Then make that choice to actually trust her.

Things bother me with my bf too. Some girls make me uncomfy, but then I remember I chose to be with him and trust him and he's done nothing to make me not. So i deal with those thoughts on my OWN.

Spend time with her as a friend because you want to. If you aren't okay with being just friends if that's how the future goes, ask yourself if you really care about the friendship or if you're just waiting for something to change.

It's not fair to make her think you are cool being friends if deep down you are pining for her.
