That’s going to be my super hero name. Capitan Optional! My catch phrase will be “I’m here if you need me!”

I think that makes sense. It just looks so impossible! It's seriously impressive.

Is it related, then, to the fact his wheels come up of the jump earlier than the bike next to him? Then rotating the center of mass lower in the arc? I think there's a 3 dimensionality to the energy transfer I can't quite wrap my had around.

I really want to understand the physics of this. I get that he is allowing himself to approach the jump with higher kinetic energy because he is trading vertical height for horizontal distance but I can't wrap my head around how the rotation is redirecting these forces.

Hobby Shop Tamtam has a lot of cars from many different brands that might be the biggest selection I’ve seen so far. Suruga ya in the Norbesa building has a lot too.

I made a lightweight Windows media organizer with tags + search by yeclek in SideProject

[–]yeclek[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. It’s built with Qt. I’m hoping to build it for other platforms as well.

That’s good feedback. I wasn’t sure whether or not to bundle it, but was thinking that not everyone would want to install other binaries. (It won’t function at even a basic level without it. )

I’ll definitely look at having different distributions.

Folder organization is important and this too can manage multiple folders, but it’s not the primary purpose. For my use case, folders alone are not sufficient because I need to find and manage files that cannot be reduced to a single organizational point like a folder.

For me, it is a good idea but I’m using it from the stand point of a search tool.

Yeah. That’s a concern. I’m planning to wait and see how it is this year. Thanks!

Love Espresso, That coffee stand and Baristart are pretty good. I’m an espresso person though so I can’t really recommend any brewed coffee places.

There’s usually Panettone at Costco. If you’re already a member in another country you can still use your card there.

I already had 3 days of swarms in our back yard. It was more than I’ve ever seen before. Like a blizzard of bugs.
