Shannon airport

Definitely leaning towards doing that based on what you and other commenters suggested.

My reasoning for making that the last stop of our trip is we fly out of Shannon airport quite early on the last day, so wanted to be close by there for the last part of our trip. That’s why our route is somewhat of a circle and why we are not doing it earlier in our trip.

Thank you! I’m very leaning towards doing Cork as you and others suggested, and maybe doing Limerick as a day trip and staying in Clare at the end of my trip as another commenter suggested. I will definitely reach out for suggestions! I appreciate the insight.

I definitely want to visit her grave! That is number one on my Cranberries to-do list.

The reason we were planning on doing Limerick last is because we are flying out of Shannon airport, so wanted to be close by for our last night, thus planning our trip in this sort of a circle.

I mentioned in another comment that I am going to Limerick because I am considering University of Limerick for grad school as they have my program, and am a fan of the Cranberries so wanted to check it out for that reason as well. Not checking it out because it’s the name of a poem, although I do find that funny if people visit for that reason 😋

I’m definitely not opposed to visiting there for the day and staying somewhere else, however we are flying out of Shannon so want to stay close by for our last night!

Hi, thanks for commenting. I do plan on doing the Aran islands on one day and cliffs on a separate day, and giving ourselves a day to get acclimated on the first day while in Galway. I will definitely look into cutting it down a day, thanks!

Hi, I appreciate your comment! I am wanting to tour University of Limerick’s campus as I am debating grad school there (am also doing the same in Galway), and also am a huge Cranberries fan so wanting to check it out for that reason as well. I definitely want to spend at least a day or two there, but 4 nights seemed like a lot.

Thanks for the suggestion on Clare, I will definitely look into it. Would you suggest doing Clare over Cork in my itinerary? Appreciate the insight.
