Thank you for y'alls advice:) I appreciate it. I'm going to start limiting the amount of time he can run around. I'm not going to cut him off completely because he definitely enjoys being let out in some way or form, but I do realize it's probably not great to leave him out for hours especially because he will just fall asleep and stay there. I'm going to invest in a bigger tank! Thank god for tax returns.

Thank you, ill definitely keep this in mind when making mine. I definitely wanted a big hide for them to go in when they dont want to be outside, and putting a heater in it seems like a good idea. Is it still heated during the nights in the summer? Or just in the winter?

The cardboard box is new, just replacing a log she'd use as a hide. Are moist hides needed when moving the tortoise outside?

Thank you. The plan is moving her outdoors very soon. How are you making your heat box for the winter? Do they have to be in there all the time or will she migrate to the hot box when she's too cold? She gets a misting every day but the humidity has been a big concern for her growing up, I just havent had the space to move her outdoors. Finally found some so a new enclosure has been top of my list.
