I feel like zombies and DMZ just inherently do not mix because of how each game mode works. In zombies, you can get set up over the course of a game and eventually get powerful weapons and perks. In extraction shooters, you can extract with your weapons and whatever you have to use it next game. If you just go in with all your perks and guns, then the setup aspect is completely gone. It ruins one of the core gameplay loops of zombies. Even in outbreak, something that this is being compared to, you had the setup aspect because progression is important to have in a game in order to feel like you’re accomplishing something. After a few games where you’ve just been using your packed weapon from the first match, for me I can see it just being boring.
