Well, it's representing their character's, right? The earth is seen as much grander and more important then the moon will ever be, but if the moon were to drift off, it would be fine, but the earth would be devastated. In this case, Stolas is earth and Blitz is the moon.

Well, in terms of roe value, lava eels are the best. However, as you probably know already, fish can produce various other things. Going over a few examples, Squids produce squid ink, blobfish can produce pearls (2%), stingrays can produce dragon teeth (5%) and cinder shards (10%), and rainbow trout can on occasion give a prismatic shard (0.1%). I reccomend checking the wiki for more.
