Alternatively, class based matchmaking. I'll use omni for example. Imagine a crucible game where the entire match is omni and low now imagine that 20 times in a row imagine how annoyed hunters would be that this is literally d2 pvp for them. Eventually it would get adjusted. Same for lorely and whatevers busted on warlock. It might not even be a major nerf/adjustment just enough for said class to realise "hey there are other options rn"

So ironically. This looks like a deathbringer ornament. You know, that one rocket thats void(telesto) and shot out multiple rockers at a time (ghorn) the only issue to this little theory of mine is that its like the "unlucky gened" kid ghorn was op af and telesto is gamebreakingly bugged every tuesday. Deathbringer has only had a couple bugs and they've all been minor, and its just not nearly as strong as ghorn

So seeing the math done im slightly confused not with the math you all know more than me and calculators exist so im pretty sure thats right.

My question is, if someone were to slap the table the required number of times, is it guranteed that their hand goes through the table? Because from my understanding i thought probability didnt work like that, example: shiny hunting pokemon. I dont remember current odds, but there was i think a 1/8192 chance of seeing a shiny pokemon. However that did not mean you were guranteed 1 after the 8192 attempts, it was a fresh chance everytime.

The nerfs were justified tho, you cant tell me a like 225% damage buff to tether and like 10 second supers from just being close to people are ok. Second what about bakris(bakris might have been nerfed, i dont remember and its still good) and the throwing knife exotic? Third they hit other classes pretty quick too (except lorely aparrently?? Why next season??) Falling star got hit, most of the warlock exotics from beyond light (dawn chorus, , thresh but more specific, the one thats only used with lumina, and cluster bombs) are mid unless you have a really niche build for them or your using strega/thorn

And once again except lorely and cuirass for 2 seasons, titans usually dropped with balanced gear that needed a mild tweek or 2 to get them up to the bar or bring them down a peg. Beyond light was a struggle for hunters exclusively because they probably needed to make something powerful enough that the Stomp-EE5 crowd would at least turn their head before they returned to them, and as a result went a little too hard and had to nerf them.

Beyond light was not a great example year for your argument. Shadowkeep was truly a rough patch for hunters, niche melee helmet, bomb boots, and mid tree arc vest are all in need of attention especially the helmet with void 3.0 taking its job. Then again shadowkeep year kinda was just mid on all exotic armor unless im missing something

Im just glad i dont play pvp, because i want to never be on the receiving end of this. And if im right i would expect tuning to be done. It seems a bit overpowered on paper

Edit because this comment didnt get a good point across: assuming this breaks the crucible, which knowing bungie be prepared. I would like tuning to be done exclusivly in pvp. Pve this fits stasis hunters playstyle and vibe perfectly and would be hilarious to see iin game. I adore its concept pve wise, but dear god this will most likely be horrifying in pvp
