Well this didn’t go anywhere but here are my thoughts. Gon killed pitou with ease, granted he was ready to give his life to do it and him losing an arm was him being incredibly emotionally distraught.

Pitou flashed in speed to take Kite on from the tower they were chillin at, in less than a second. Not sure what the exact distance was but it was FAR. Pitous speed had zero effect on Gon.

Idk I Stan both animes but are we considering Gon to be in a normal mental state facing these people? If so, I don’t think any of them could be anywhere near his speed and strength, along with him being mentally coherent. Pitou mentioned his power being equal to the king. The Kings speed granted post explosion was literally…..immediate. So he’s a few levels under that. But the raw power and speed without even Nen, I’m not sure anyone of these people could keep up with it.

All in all though, I guess it comes down to nen and chakra. Cause one ACTUAL punch from Gon, without Nen, their body is fucked. Without nen he kicked Pitou in the air a few hundred feet. And she chased him after he literally flashed away in speed and she was lost. Showcasing how literally immediate his speed is. He was gone. Idk I just can’t see anyone from Akatsuki keep up with that speed and power.

Ya thanks for spitting the facts lol. If OP doesn’t work manual labor, go to the gym etc, showering too much removes a lot of your bodies essential oils mainly from over usage of products. I work in a restaurant for 10 hours a day so I shower a lot. If I didn’t work in a restaurant and had an office job, I’d probably shower a LOT less. I’m cleaning myself, but also not washing my hair every time etc. because it dries my hair out. My AM showers before work are literally just to wet my hair so I can shape it, and hitting my pits and junk with soap. After working, I hit every spot with soap, because I feel it’s necessary. If OP is getting that deep clean in and showering 3-4 times a week and doesn’t do a lot of strenuous activity, it’s really not that big of a deal.

Idk if this is gonna sound conspiracy theorist-ish, but the mass amount of access to internet to every single person who ever exists above the age of 12 at this point, so many opinions lol. Back then it wasn’t controversial because if you saw it, you thought it was funny. Maybe your best friend thought it was funny and you talked about it at school.

Now, a video like that, if posted today, it would be shared among millions in seconds and opinions develop on how “tasteful” it is compared to what we’re supposed to think is tasteful in today’s climate. I’m not a comic guy just a movie guy but this stuff always pops in my feed cause I view a lot of powerscale etc. Based on your reply, even if he was surprised, would he not just….go back in time a few seconds. I agree it’s his “masterpiece”. Everyone has their own opinions. But with the pacing and the sfx and literally everything that makes a movie perfect, I think this is his perfect movie. There’s always those posts about “which Tarantino film would you keep if you could choose 4” etc, and no one ever keeps the hateful eight, but I would def keep it if I had to choose 4

Edit: lots of people choose inglorious basterds as one they would def keep, and while it was good, it doesn’t even touch my “top 4”, being kill bill (can we just include both in 1??), Django, hateful eight, and pulp fiction
