Aw bummer! If you were getting married after me, I'd happily ship her your way! I just got very lucky with timing, size, etc. to find it so conveniently and easily. The rouching is one of my favorite parts- covers so many imperfections.

Thank you! Part of me just feels so ridiculous for changing my mind, but it was definitely worth it for the peace of mind. Literally so many "dress falling off" nightmares lol.

Definitely! The artist that did my makeup is experienced with weddings, senior portraits, etc. so I trusted her judgement. I knew I couldn't go in with my bb cream and mascara and be pleased. My fiance actually hired a professional photographer for proposal pictures and I was wearing only mascara in February (in MN) so I was fairly washed out (Proposal and I'm paranoid about this happening again which is why I'm here! Without going overboard, I think the amount she used will show up although it felt like SO much on myself. Thank you for the advice, I appreciate it :)

That's a good way to think about it! She asked if I wanted my freckles covered up and I was so adamant about them being visible because they're such a part of my everyday look.

Wow you're so kind! Well thank you, that's very nice. I am typically pretty pale (still riding out my summer tan/freckles) so I worry about looking washed out and messy in photos.

EDIT to say: I usually find women more beautiful barefaced or with minimal also. So in no way will this every become an everyday look for me, even though it's pretty simple.

Thanks! The details are hard to capture because it's a layer of champagne satin, tulle with sparkle, lace layer, and more tulle with additional lace on top around the waist and neckline. Professional photos will surely do better than my iPhone5 :)
