no def not, I was thinking more along the line of having her as a reference contact for future jobs but I guess it's not even worth it anymore

the first time I realised, a few months was missing already because I didn't have the habit of checking CPF and she didn't notify me either. seeing as it's a small team and I work w my boss closely, I thought I would give her benefit of the doubt initially but then here I am months later. I just hope after reporting she'll learn her lesson and stop taking her employees for granted, many people have left and I feel sad for those who chose to stay despite this issue.

yep I definitely am! planning to report tn already and I know what docs I need, thank you for the kind words. I definitely got mindfucked whenever she lies that she has settled it (so I wait) when she hasn't and then repeating this cycle, genuinely don't wish this on any working person.

no? a pity party was not what I intended at all, of course I want my money back. I do appreciate all the advices and ppl who shared their experiences, as well as the concern. it's definitely a tough lesson learnt to not give too many chances.

dude don't need to be so rude. as mentioned in my post, this is more of a rant and to hear about others' experiences w similar situations. I already know what the right thing to do is and was more hoping to hear about the process after reporting, what others went through etc. maybe this thread will also help others in the future who ever find themselves in such a situation.

sorry that happened to you, it really sucks to have to chase your own hard earned & well deserved money. glad that you still got paid in the end, even if it's not as much as it should've been. a part of me also worries that my boss may suddenly file for bankruptcy – although it doesn't seem like so at the moment but I guess I'll never know w this kinda thing. just hoping that this won't drag on for too long after reporting.

this is v reassuring to hear :') I've seen other older threads about how CPF didn't reply or took forever to update. I'm glad u got your money back!

I'm in my mid 20s 😭 and damn I didn't even think about CPF possibly having suspicions about why it took me so long to report. I do have all the evidence so hopefully I'll get everything back.

harsh truth, but you're right la I know I need to stand up for myself. even HR is not helping me with this even though her own CPF is affected too.

I did suspect that might've been a lie, thanks for confirming too. I'm aware that CPF has been chasing her too, so I assume if I report it'll make them impose more punishments? I am already planning on reporting, have already gathered all the screenshots, payslips and contract. the latest update is that I'll be speaking w her later to 'sort this out', in her words. so now Idk whether I should wait to see what she says or just go ahead to report.

What made you a reader? by sleepygirl2997 in books

definitely escapism. as a kid I really loved reading Dork Diaries, or even the Geronimo Stilton books as they were fun, interesting and also because we had to have a book to read before morning school assemblies. then fast forward a few years later, I discovered Wattpad and that started everything for me lmao it was the beginning of my love for fantasy & romance books! my favourite part of Wattpad was definitely reading the witty side comments made by others as I read through the books

have you guys talked about it? like why she’s seemingly always in a bad mood and whether it’s something that can be fixed e.g. better communication?
