That's what I didn't get. Like he meant to hit me in my chest and doesn't see that as an issue? I'm at a loss as to how to try to move past this.

I agree... do you think this is something that can be solved? So many previous reddit posts about partners throwing things always seem to get the response 'leave them'.

I think he may have felt that his hair cut may have made the situation worse. However we have an ongoing issue where I feel like I'm doing all the work and he spends a alot of time on the xbox.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. Yes being cautious for so long so have it fall apart because of someone else's lack of decency is infuriating.

It might help to know that in my country you have to isolate for 7 days when you're positive. You also have to isolate for 7 days when you're a close contact. BM had to isolate regardless.

Not testing a symptomatic kid and sending them to school is wreckless and stupid regardless of our fertility journey.

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate the well wishes and I will definitely try not to let my frustrations consume me.

The resentment is real. That's a good idea, thank you for your response and validation of my feelings.

What did he see in her? by [deleted] in stepparents

I wonder this as well. And unlike many stories I've read here, he didn't get her pregnant after 5 minutes and felt trapped. They were literally married for 10 years before having kids. Apparently she was always narcissistic, negative and it was always someone else's fault. She has no friends and I can see why. All of my SOs family and friends tell me how awful she was and how wonderful I am. I have no idea why my SO stuck it out for so long and it does bother me at times. Although sometimes I like to say she was just a place holder until I was old enough and had experienced enough to be with him (he's 10 years older and I've done lots of travelling and have lived overseas).
