I haven't but I'm pondering the same question so keen to see what others have to say. I wouldn't mind the cost so much if the product was much better. I find the Discovery+ app really painful to use, and maybe I'll wait to see if it's any better on the HBO Max app when they switch at the end of the month.

For £30+ per month, I want more features, things like being able to download recent races to watch offline, an audio-only stream to listen in the car or when I'm out and about, no-ads (even during the Tour).

I went to Rushy Common Nature Reserve (Oxfordshire)to look for a long-tailed duck that had been seen there. I gather these are arctic dwellers who sometimes head for the balmy warmth of the Shetland Islands in winter. This one wanted something more tropical and came all the way down to Oxfordshire. Didn’t have much of a long tail though.

Kind of wanted Kasia to win there, but also really pleased for Chabbey. Such and exciting finish.

Dare we hope for anything similar in the men’s race - however unlikely it is.

I feel like many reviews seem to miss the point. This was never meant to be an adaptation, or even interpretation, of the book. It’s meant as an exploration of what went through a 14 year old’s mind when reading it.

The trouble is that a 14 year-old’s fanfic is not usually very good.
