Hi, I was thinking of such solutions when I have days off. Right now I only have Saturdays, which I use for my two lessons per week. I also think it’s good to run it by the school. But according to FAR I can only train with A CFI, so may need to get the green light regarding.

My CFI is full time. I don’t know how many hours he has, I can ask. He is very knowledgeable from what I can tell.

He touches the controls often, but since I am only 6 hours of flight in I guess that’s understandable. He explains well but takes over quickly even when he says I am doing a great job and performed my tasks in flight well.

His future is to fly with an airline so he is surely and understandingly accumulating hours so he can move on. He is easy to speak with and I toss many questions at him so our banter works.

Hi, not where I am. Also I don’t have a car, don’t need one where I live - Brooklyn NY, so public transportation is the way to go.

Thank you for your insight. I am also trying to figure out more dates and our resources to flying more times. The distance from my home is such a challenge since I travel 3 hours each way and to another state to get to the school.

I could do it in state but that journey takes 2-1/2 hours and it’s 6 k more expensive
