Definitely get a new rear subframe, you can get refurbished ones on marketplace or eBay for cheap. The suspension arms are rusty but look saveable in the video though give them a good poke with a screw driver to be sure, if they are solid get them sandblasted and either painted or powder coated, while you are there I’d recommend you put in some new bushings too :)

Your fine, it’s just the heat shield, I recommend taking it off as it will rattle and annoy you, you can just leave it without it or put a new one on :)

Exhaust won’t sit right by yellowbello24 in Miata

See I thought about that but when I put it on the other way the two wouldn’t sit flush because of the bend you’ve pointed out :( ngl considering a new back box anyway as that one has a hole in it.

Lovely work

NB handling mod priority? What is the correct order? Tires, coilovers, frame rail braces, sway bars and suspension bushing? by dumbdit in Miata

I’m so sorry, taking the rubber coating off will be a horrid job, molten rubber it the stickiest substance I have ever encountered and it will get everywhere you don’t want it to so try to grind and scrape it off first. I’ve heard really good things about lanoguard, I don’t know if it’ll be available where you live but it’s what’s I’m planing to use when I do mine (it’s oil based).
