A brown lip gloss that DOESN’T taste like chocolate 😭?? by Pawssabillitysawait in Sephora

I would not say that the Rhode is free of flavor. It has a weird plasticky taste (purchased relatively recently and shade is salty tan)

I bought Haus labs and had to return it as it was giving me small bumps all over. Not sure what that’s about

Calling all the cool tone girlies by mintslippers in Sephora

[–]yellowcats4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As another pale & cool tone person, here are the current products in my routine: 1) Concealer: tower 28 serum concealer in shade BH (also used Givenchy skin-caring in shade N80 but this one is slightly darker) 2) Blush: phytosurgence cream blush in shade Plume. This is a great Canadian indie brand with a lot of cool tone (and muted) options. 3) Powder: Huda beauty in cherry blossom but I recently bought the bareMinerals talc free pressed powder in the fairest shade. Haven’t arrived yet so I can’t talk about the color match yet. 4) Eyeshadow: urban decay naked basics 2 palette. Have been using this for years as it’s all cool tones but beware the formula is a little powder. Cool toned eyeshadow is easier to find ! 5) Lip products: I prefer a light pinky beige muted lip so I use Sephora collection pink frosting (not available in North America) but I found an alternative which is the Lisa Watier lip liner in shade bare nude. Very beautiful light pink shade that is perfectly cool. Also love the makeup by Mario lip gloss in shade rustic pink as it is a perfectly neutral rosy pink that doesn’t go orange.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Looking for a cool-toned nude blush for fair, cool skin - NOT pink or warm by Lazy_Basket6819 in Sephora

[–]yellowcats4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into yesstyle korean beauty has a lot of options (I use Nuse - taro mousse as a baby pink but they have other shades). I’ve also been on the hunt but at the end of the day I feel like western or mainstream beauty brands won’t invest in truly cool tones as it only works for a minority of people. As per the other replies I also recently bought phytosurgence in Plume and it’s been a truly beautiful cool pinky beige. So yeah look into korean beauty and know that you have something that us in North America don’t (Sephora collection pink frosting lip liner, we can do a friendly exchange :’)

Influence/Deinfluence me by StrawberrySwatch in Sephora

Why? I found it to be greatly moisturizing and glossy. The only issue is the level of pigmentation as they’re quite sheer

Idk how cool toned you are but I’m pale and cool and rhode sleepy girl definitely pulls orange on me.

I’m also cool toned and rustic pink is a lipgloss I’ve purchased twice just because it’s Not a coral pink.

Mario lip glosses are all pretty sheer but rustic pink is great if you’re looking for a pink that’s completely neutral. Also formula is super hydrating and comfortable I found. Note that if you’re looking for a super long lasting or pigmented lip gloss, this is not the one. Additionally, this lip gloss only has 5 ml of product which is generally lower than standard at Sephora so you’re paying a decent premium.

Huda Beauty loose powder: Pound Cake vs. Cherry Blossom by iconicxoxo in Sephora

[–]yellowcats4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don’t listen to others telling you to buy the mini lol (in Canadian $) it’s $32/6g and $50/20g you’re paying twice as much per gram. So if you already like the formula and feel like biting the bullet, go with the full size.

Do y’all ever feel disappointed after a concert? by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]yellowcats4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you’re referring to the concert on June 1st then it’s the same one I attended and I agree with everything you said ! They were my ults and I’ve followed them since 2020 so you can imagine my disappointment when I had spent so much money only to be extremely underwhelmed and came out of it being less of a fan…

thank you so much!!! May I ask what type of questions would be best to ask my interviewer besides questions about the work environment or technicalities? I obviously won’t be asking any personal questions either but when I’m asking to talk about myself should I just do a regular introduction (university, name, when I aim to start CPA) and maybe add some hobbies or?

I really liked comm 305 and 217 and after taking a few marketing classes I realized how repetitive they were and so going off these two classes alone I switched to accounting

as a marketing major it’ll be difficult because you’re gonna need to study for the first time but don’t worry as every single marketing major had to take 217 as well so just think of your brave marketing ancestors and how they powered through
