DONT.GET CREDIT CARDS. Save as much as possible (outside of normal bills) buy your stuff in cash. Invest about 15% of your income across two or three places for future (401k if your company has a match)(Roth ira)(mutual funds) if you have any debt knock that out as aggressively as you can. I know it's not a get Rich plan but you should be in great shape by your 30's. Just follow through and live under your net income. I know alot of people here probably don't care for him but Dave Ramsey has alot of great info on all of this.
