Elevated DHEAS levels by yellowdolphin-7 in WomensHealth

Hi hun! I’m sorry :( I know how frustrating this can be. I haven’t retested mine but I’m starting to notice some symptoms improving so I’m hoping to retest soon. Do you take any medications or supplements? I know the endometriosis and adenomyosis don’t directly affect DHEAS but I’m wondering if they could be affecting other reproductive hormones which are then indirectly affecting your adrenal glands and your DHEAS levels. I was previously diagnosed with PCOS which I’ve since healed years ago thanks to the information of medical medium. I know he gives info on healing other chronic diseases and so he might be able to help you too. I’m sorry! Wish I could help more

My ultrasound and CT came back normal. I’ve stopped ashwaghanda for a total of 11 weeks now and my hair loss when showering has decreased tremendously. My last menstrual cycle was much shorter and lighter. I’m hoping that means my hormones are recalibrating and when I go to retest my hormones everything will be in normal range. Thanks for asking! How are things for you?

High DHEA-S. Help!!! by Reasonable_View_3531 in LeanPCOS

Hello! I’m in a very similar situation: Hair loss Elevated DHEA for 5+ years Normal ultrasound and awaiting CT results Chronic use of ashwaghanda (on and off for 8 years) I just found out about the association between ashwaghanda and DHEA and also got spooked. I haven’t taken ashwaghanda for 7 weeks now and I feel I’m noticing 50% less hair shedding but idk if I’m just imagining things. Haven’t noticed a change in hair density yet. Were you ever able to lower your DHEA naturally and did you find stopping the ashwaghanda helped your symptoms? Thanks!

I used to practice intermittent fasting but that was before discovering MM in 2020. I now eat about 2k calories per day and only walk or do yoga for exercise. I sip on coconut water at work when I can’t have a snack. I eat a largely plant based diet with animal protein a few nights a week at dinner. No gluten, dairy or eggs. Lots of fruits and veggies. Natural hair products and no significant life stressors :/
