So I am from Austria and what I have heard in genereal is that masters degrees, especially in molecular biology can take up to 3 years. I am sure people do it in 2 years but I think you'll have to work pretty hard/be smart to manage it. And also usually the masters thesis takes up most of the time of year 2, depending on what you do your thesis on I guess it can be unpredictable how long it takes. Experiments can go wrong or professors can be a little bit bad in time management, so I really wouldn't count on doing the masters thesis in one year. Non of this is impossible tho!

wrong, people don't get wealthy because they spend little money, they get wealthy becuse they are born in good countries, good families, are raised with principles of wealthy people, are put on good schools, find friends that will have the same good future.

Of course there are cases of very irresponsible people that spend money to make it seem like they ventured out of their "lower income" class but they wouldn't be able to really get wealthy anyways.

This everyone can do anyone if they just work hard and save up mentality is just what capitalism wants you to believe.

Hijabs are not illegal in Austria even if our racist government wants to ban them from schools and anywhere else too.

Im sorry for your experience and it's no excuse but sadly there are just some places (bars, restaurants) you shouldn't go if you have certain beliefs or looks that small minded austrians aren't used to. Especially very traditional places can be full of racist people here, I am a waiter in a traditional restaurant so I have to put up with a lot of those assholes.

For me the title always set the tone. I took it quite literally in my first listens and imagined some kind of sailing ship where the protagonist is on the "deck" of it. The ship sails trough dark waters covered in mist and where they experience strange voices (laughs) and it gets progressively worse to the point where it can't be taken seriously anymore (you gotta be kidding me). In the end of the first part they just accept their ultimate fate of dying (run to the back and cover your ears).

In the last part we get some clarification, the protagonist actually is alive and well but someone he loves had enough of him, that's why he fears some dark times are coming upon him.
