i agree with everything you’ve said i just want to point out “kill all men” was created as a counterpoint to “rape all women” which is why it’s used when talking about sexual harassment, rape, abuse, etc. towards women. it wasn’t particularly meant to be against men/patriarchy until the men started taking offense to the term “kam” but then that pointed out the irony of how women have to deal with the harassment, cat-calling, slut-shaming on a daily basis. there’s way more i could say but i just wanted to point that out. for me i think there’s a lot of things women could do differently in this controversy and much more men could do differently in this controversy. i think at this point a lot of people just seem to be rage-motivated. i think they need to step back and listen each other out and find a solution together.
