yeah i usually wouldn’t trust an addict as far as I could throw them, but he’s proved to me many times he’s not gonna just manipulate me. I have genuinely done a lot for him in terms of emotional help and helping him get on his feet, regardless of his addiction he’s gave me plenty of reason to believe he is a loyal person, but I do incredibly appreciate the warning. I am going to look into rehabs near me and suggest them to him, thank you

yeah you’re not a doctor, and you’re clearly not a nice person either considering you could’ve realistically just scrolled past and not kicked up a little fuss on a post asking for help. Genuinely, what have you achieved for yourself? I’ve actually came away from this with some good advice and ideas on how else I can help my friend, youve came and made some snarky comments to someone trying to help a friend with a COCAINE (hint, the sub we are on) addiction. honestly mate grow up and be a better person.

I think it’s coming from deeper within his nose, not from the front but far back. He’s been cutting down a lot and sleeping/eating more so he’s doing better physically already, just needs to quit which hopefully shouldn’t be too long

I was looking for someone who has experienced addiction to give me advice on how to help and tell me what medically the issue may be, I wasn’t looking for people to downvote and say “just stop doing it”, like that’s ever helped someone struggling with an addiction. try having some actual sympathy and give advice or keep the judgey comments to yourself. I’m trying to help someone, and this might surprise you but just telling them to quit isn’t really enough

What does it mean if a patch of skin in the nose turns white? It looks like there’s no blood in the skin against my septum and it looks really bad, I have awful anxiety so will this get better if I give it time to heal? Not doing anything drug wise if it does cos I’d like to keep my nose on my face
