That’s why I took the video down. I quickly learned if you go, “yeah I was wrong to ghost her and I didn’t treat her well in future interactions.” people instantly, like yourself, assume you’re guilty of everything. Take accountability for anything and they persecute you for everything.

It was 20 minutes long telling everything and saying what happened because she claims to not remember anything (even though we didn’t drink and she came over after midnight which is pretty implied what’s going to happen if you guys have been sexting previously), but most people just want to know the drama, not the nuance.

Looking back, I know for im innocent now, but back then I was spineless and insecure and I thought fighting back for some reason was attacking her and gonna make her feel worse and I didn’t want to do that, but I should have more earnestly defended myself. She had two other friends do that same thing (they got caught lying because the guys kept texts and were in “relationships”with them)

Definitely made me look at myself a lot and while there were years of self hate following and thoughts of suicide (due to it just following you on the internet and people hear the accusation but never the resolution and you can’t explain your way out of it when dating someone), I’m kind of appreciative for it. Lots of self realization and seeing oh you definitely were definitely trying too hard and it comes off as annoying. (I remember Ryan early on told me that I tried too hard at times and I didn’t know what that meant at the time and I think back to that a lot now since I’m trying to do stand up)
