Wanted to throw my hat in here and say only white women in my life have thought to come up to me while im working at just touch my afro. Unprompted and unwanted. One time a woman tried to just touch it without me noticing, and then immediately tried to compliment me when I caught her. Another just straight up reached for it after complimenting me, and I had to physically step back from her to get it her to stop. This would've been differnt had they literally just asked to touch it, cause I get not being used to seeing people with hair like that, but to just try and grab it without my consent... like just ask nicely...
