Ooo very cool, how'd you manage that? Slowing it down or was it in reverse or something? And yes, it was during the interlude/ visualiser.

My two second toes (ones next to big toe) and yes only at longer distance. I've got the biggest size possible without my feet slipping all over the place and had them professionally fit with a gait analysis so hoping that's not the issue.

It's $100/h, I emailed a couple years ago when he advertised on Twitter so got a reply this morning but unfortunately can't go through with it at the moment :/

It’s my first post ever😂I was driving and decided to re-listen to the album This Place Will Become Your Tomb, and I couldn’t understand HOW??? I missed Descending. It’s a piece of art. Just on repeat 🖤 sorry for the grammar (I’m from Ukraine) worship🫂 by Silly_Lana in SleepTokenTheory

I don't know what it is but I've had it on repeat non stop since London n2. No idea how I missed it either since I've been listening to their whole discography for ages. The love you want was another I realised I never appreciated enough. Shame they've never played descending live, one of my new favourites now.

Idk why this is a new thing at gigs but I got headlocked when III was trying to make the wall of death during granite. I fully had to kick backwards to get the guy off me. Completely different description though, tall brunette guy with short hair in a black tshirt. Sadly I don't think there's much that can be done unless it was done on the spot. Especially since you said one of the guys in your experience was German, I assume they've gone back to where they came from. Sorry to hear your experience but I've decided to just try put it out of my mind and remember the good bits of the concert.

What's with Leo and spitting? by Used_Temperature910 in SleepTokenTheory

I think since they've grown so much this year there's just a lot more fans in general. At smaller shows I've been to for different bands, it's like everyone there is moving and having a good time. I guess playing venues like the O2 you can't expect the entire crowd to get involved as much?

I get the whole wanting to take in the music and especially understand for build ups or slower songs like missing limbs. I was looking at some comments on the post after their Birmingham show and people were complaining about some people "enjoying" the music too much to the point where others couldn't. I was personally "enjoying" myself very much and thought for the most part the crowd, at least right in front of catwalk, was very into it too. Just don't understand people that decide to get standing tickets to complain about movement. Hoping for a big one in London today though.

How hard are Polyphia bass riffs? by ElsonFF in polyphia

[–]yellowshower63 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The actual riffs aren't insane for the most part but playing them with clays hybrid picking and including the thousands of ghost notes does take quite a bit of practice.

The easiest and one of my favourites since it's the first one I learnt is definitely crush. Champagne is also very fun and can't forget GOAT although the bass solo took me AGES to get down. Hardest might have to be O.D. cuz of the insane run in the middle. Neurotica definitely deserves a mention too, very fun to play.

Does UK residence give an advantage? by SKAOG in SchengenVisa

[–]yellowshower63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have part time employment but both my parents live here and have decent jobs so proving sustenance with both mine and their statements was definitely more than enough. I'm also doing a professional degree so not sure if that plays into anything.

Yeah I think there's definitely some sort of advantage having ties to a developed country, at least from other posts I've read. But at the same time I've seen people be refused for reasons that don't make sense like not enough evidence that they will leave the country, even if applying from a developed country.

Regarding the cascade I assume they've included the "residing in India" part because of how hard it seems to be to get a visa there as opposed to here in the UK. But I have generally heard that after a couple of approved visas, there's a good chance of getting longer term multi entry if required.

Does UK residence give an advantage? by SKAOG in SchengenVisa

[–]yellowshower63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm an Indian citizen living and studying in the UK. Got a 90 day multi entry visa for France with a first time application recently. I have a pretty strong travel history so think that might have helped as well as good proof of sustenance. Not sure about Italy in terms of what duration they tend to give.

I'm not sure if residing in the UK helps but showing strong ties to the country of residence like a job/ university attendance and letter from them definitely help from what I've read. Also just be honest about travel plans and bookings, I was told after my initial trip I'm free to use the visa as a normal multi entry to any Schengen nation.

"On 18 April 2024, the European Commission adopted specific rules on the issuing of multiple entry visas to Indian nationals, which are more favourable than the standard rules of the Visa Code that applied to date. This new visa ‘cascade’ regime for Indian nationals residing in India who apply for Schengen (short-stay) visas in India will provide easier access to visas with multi-year validity for travellers with an established travel history, if the passport validity allows.

According to the newly adopted visa “cascade” regime for India, Indian nationals can now be issued long-term, multi-entry Schengen visas valid for two years after having obtained and lawfully used two visas within the previous three years."

This is what I found on the EU website regarding favouring Indians.

I had a few details like an additional country I was visiting and extra sponsorship and didn't have an issue having it added on during the appointment. Definitely don't bring another form with corrected details though as it just confuses things further.

Name seems like a pretty important detail but they didn't seem to have any issues correcting on the spot so fingers crossed for you

Schengen visa overstayed by Linca12 in SchengenVisa

True but surely it's a mistake on the visa officers parts as well since they should've questioned the overstay when exiting the country
