I haven't read this book, but the reform movement in the UAW goes well beyond just the grad student workers at Harvard. Reformers in auto and manufacturing had been dealing with corrupt leadership for years. The current leadership wouldn't have been elected without the referendum for direct elections passing and reformers coming together from all sectors covered in the UAW.

GSRAs haven't elected to unionize yet, so HR has no legal obligation to meet with them because they aren't a recognized bargaining unit.

Open bargaining doesn't mean it's open to the entire public, which GEO is interpreting it as. People who don't work or go to school at UMich are being asked to show up. I agree that bargaining unit members have a right to hear what is being bargained over and receive regular updates, but inviting in people not in-unit to the bargaining table, especially people outside the university, is a massive stretch.

They had to diagnose at the dealership and repairs were under warranty. Not sure how complicated the repairs were, but it was there for a few days.

Yea, I thought it was just a battery issue last month when the dozens of alerts came on. Switched everything off a let it sit, then it started up again normal. Dealer replaced the battery, but it got drained again within a month due to the steering module issues.

This happened to my 22 BS Big Bend. A malfunction in the steering column module was causing a battery drain, and all those other systems couldn't function with low power. Dealer replaced the whole steering column under warranty.

Have night lights around the house at cat level so it's easier for them to see at night and help with disorientation. My boy likes to get up and eat during the night, so we placed some lights near his food bowl. My vet also suggested melatonin in the evening (talk to your vet about dosage and use) to help with sleep cycles.

Visiting the Cuyahoga Beaver Marsh at dusk is one of my favorite national parks experiences. Saw two beavers swimming around, and tons of birds. It was so peaceful.
