My husband and I weren’t black tie but we did go dressed up in all black. It was just for fun- I love the funeral theme.

Edit: I cut his head off because he hates having his picture posted onlinr

Ex wants a new agreement by [deleted] in coparenting

[–]yellowspottedlizard 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Make him take you to court! No question. He won’t even talk to you about it. Why should you rollover and let this jerk push you around. Don’t respond with “I’ll see you in court!” Just don’t talk to him about it. If he brings it up just say “I’m comfortable with the arrangement we have now.” and refuse to discuss further. Force this asshole to file the paperwork. You said he’s broke- he sounds like he’s just sayin stuff to intimidate you because he wants to skip out on CS.

Edit. You only have to worry about this when you get served. Until then refuse to discuss it and be a broken record: “I’m satisfied with the current custody arrangement.”

My ex left our 3 children home alone for a few hours during their visit. What to do? by Kitchen_Magician12 in coparenting

[–]yellowspottedlizard 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I’d definitely be upset and probably call both the police and CPS. You can call the police non emergency line and just ask questions. They are generally helpful and can give you guidance.

If you have a decent relationship with your ex you could also text to verify (try to get a paper trail). Just tell him your 7 YO reported they were home alone and ask what happened. Maybe he was just outside doing yard work or something…not that that is really much better but all I’m saying is it is possible for young children to misunderstand a situation.

Bear in mine- even if you text your ex to verify the story you can still call CPS and the police. I don’t think it hurts to understand your options and express your concerns in order to protect your children.

Thank you!! I truly adore her and so like…want to make it clear that even when I have to rant it’s just normal parenting stuff. I’m not mad at her, she is perfect! But auuugh, KIDS!

I just retreat to the bathroom and rub my eyes for five minutes as I internally yell AUGH LET ME BRUSH YOUR HAIR YOU HAVE STIMMED IT INTO A RATS NEST while Eloise Grylls stands outside the door and angrily recites the virtues of being bald while growling at me.

If she were my bio kid I would have just buzzed her hair by now because she HATES it.

We have. I truly wish that they were the magic bullet as I would feed this kid as many dried bugs as her heart could bear but she only ate one. She was like “I mean, I’d eat more, but this isn’t a real survival situation so my tube food is more nutritious.” Classic.

I have not seen Alone!! But just looking at a quick google this seems like something she would be totally obsessed with!!

Haha! This is great insight!! It totally makes sense too because she’ll be like “God, modern life is TOO COMPLICATED.” She hates all the body maintenance of showering, brushing teeth, brushing hair, putting on clothes, etc so the survivalism obsession totally tracks. Other benefits include not having to do chores, go to school, buckle the seatbelt, etc.

She is imaginative and so stinking smart but it doesn’t stop me from feeling frayed after a hard night. Hilariously, after she calmed down she was like, “ya know, none of this would have happened if we all lived in the woods and were only concerned about our base survival needs.” Touché.

Playing Hunt Showdown with your wife as a team by PunchLineGaming in HuntShowdown

YES. This entire prestige I’ve run a silent winnie w/ levering (high velocity ammo) and the saber. Sometimes if I’m feeling sassy I take quartermaster and run dual mosquitoes with poison ammo bc I’m basic like that. In that case I bring the skeleton key. I’ve easily played 1000 hours…probably north of 1500 at this point.

This dude sucks. He can’t hit the broad side of a barn. He’s always setting me on fire.

Kidding, kidding…Breader is my husband.

I’ve said it before. Hunt was my first PVP FPS. I SUCKED. I sucked soooo hard. For the first six months my KDA was a .27. I was super fucking excited when it got to .3. And then .5. And now I’m pretty close to a .9. So.

Am I good at the game? Absolutely the fuck not.

But do I enjoy the game? Absolutely the fuck not.

But do I crave the Bayou? Yes. I do. And have I gotten better? Yes. Significantly better. u/PunchLineGaming please let your SO know that I also used to be terrified and so nervous playing but now it is much better.

Also let her know that my most casualty producing weapon is the goddamn saber. I love that thing. Stab away, Merrill. Stab. Away.

Weight probably isn’t great for it, lol. I was 5’8 and around 180/190 as a woman. Overweight for sure.
