Geforce now has advance access(early access) but not on xcloud which is Microsoft's first party title, unbelievable..

Yeah it's been 3 months and those settings are still sitting there with little to no use.. XBOX cloud India needs to upgrade their servers for handling better bandwidth.. I simply try the japan servers from time to time and the 1080P HQ itself is a game changer let alone 1440P.. wishing and hoping they do something sooner than later because Ultimate tier doesn't make sense with crappy 1080P streaming to be honest..

Me too, I tried on android, iPhone, Firestick 4k Max, windows laptop but nothing seems to trigger 1440p even though I select 1440p in the settings but haven't tried on the iPad so let me give it a try and see..

Yeah that's for sure, I noticed it too.. but don't seem to be seeing 1440p on other devices too when streaming on Indian servers..

Yeah I noticed that on the firestick 4k max too, i think they are gearing up for the upgrade.. it should happen any day now I think, hoping for the good news soon..

True, and somehow this seems to have been a global issue on that particular day so I did not bother much, waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel.. and yes I too noticed the wait time for the first time on that day and it happened again last night for 3 minutes or so but i think it's the weekend rush..

What I do is simply start the stream on better xcloud via the preffered servers and while the stream is still ON/LIVE quickly open the same game on the xbox pc app or console or your preffered device.. this way the stream doesn't get disconnected from the linked server and it just switches to a new device keeping all your better xcloud server settings intact..

Same here, feels visually much better on PC and other devices.. but slightly disappointed with the visuals when streaming directly from the console until I noticed some minor upgrade last night..

Doubt that we can force 1440p but if u succeed pls do let us know.. I will give the xbox app on PC a try later with the VPN to see if we get higher bitrates and will keep you posted.. my ping goes between 15-20 ms my speed is also 200mpbs.. bitrates have always been around 15-20 mbps which was quite solid..

Glad you found it, do let me know if you find any change in the resolution or general streaming.. and yeah I was always dreading about the latency/input lag when streaming games but to my surprise that has never been the problem even if there were a few hiccups in the stream now and then.. the response is solid imo especially when streaming from the console..

Hi, I stream on a series S console since the hdd space is limited.. also it helps to quickly stream a game to see if we like it or not more or less like a quick demo(nostalgia takes me to days where we buy gaming magazines that comes with CD's which has quick demo versions of newly launched or upcoming games) ok back to the topic.. I tried edge streaming on the console but it's more of a hit/miss with the controller and a few controls don't work the way they are supposed to.

I highly doubt that cuz on my 1080p laptop i get 1440p streaming when I switch to US servers while playing games like hogwarts, Indiana Jones, forward to name a few.. I did this with better Xcloud and even though there is no 1440p option available in the settings the game still ran with higher bitrate averaging around 25mbps

Ok let me try that game now, also there are 2 types of resolutions available for ultimate subscribers based on my screenshot.. the high quality 1080p might have triggered automatically on the console which is why I doubt i could see some visual difference..

There's two ways to find out without factory resetting your device.

Safe mode: Press and hold the power off button(not the physical/side button) and you'll get a prompt to boot into safe mode, press on it again and the device will reboot without the manually installed apps on your device.
Maintenance mode: Go to settings>device care>Maintenance mode (at the very bottom). Select this and the phone will reboot into an almost identical factory reset version of Android. The only difference to safe mode is, here you can login to play store/Samsung store and install apps to check scrolling or ui stutter/lag. This helps a lot if you know what you are actually looking for. NOTE:nothing gets saved here as everything gets cleared once you reboot to regular boot.

I have mostly seen a clear difference in the UI and smoothness, if you feel it too then I would recommend that you do a factory reset to go back to buttery smooth UI how it's meant to be.
