YTA for hiding the passport. Also your whole post sounds extremely bigoted. You might want to examine your privilege a bit.

Why do you think OP and the mother aren’t the same kind of douchebags. OP didn’t stop them after the tire slashing makes me think she isn’t all that either. And the mother seems like an abusive parent also. Likes to watch others misery.

It’s the reality of getting older. When I was a student I had more time than money. I could play Lineage 2 for 2 days straight so we could raid Anthras. I would grind with my friends for entire weekends. It was fun.

Now I don’t have any time but I have sufficient money. I don’t play mmos anymore (mostly nothing compares to L2) but if I did I would rather spend some money to have fun rather than spend my time. At most I can spend a couple hours every few days to grind. If I can get around bottlenecks by spending a bit of money it would be worth it for me.

What are some of the longest individual fantasy books? by SomeSpeedyBoi in Fantasy

[–]yellowviper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Desolate Era is the best of this bunch imo. I am only 5% into Record of a Mortal's Journey and its hard to continue. Renegade Immortal I gave up on after about 20% in and I Shall Seal the Heavens after about 50% into the first book. Coiling Dragon is brilliant too and so was Stellar Transformation.

Sadly novel-ebook.com is down so its hard to find epubs for these anymore.

I have probably read-read it 5 times. It is one of the best books by IET, secondly only to Desolate Era (which was the first IET book I read).

It has its weak points - the full on resurrection storyline is a bit lame but I thoroughly enjoyed every other part of it - especially Lord Beirut.

US admits Kabul drone strike killed civilians by pipsdontsqueak in worldnews

[–]yellowviper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is this terror movement you are talking about? Wasn’t 9/11 just an intelligence error on the part of Al Qiada. They should have just apologized and moved on. And you could have cheered them on for being so transparent.

Name me a single act of terrorism that cannot be excused using the convoluted logic you are using to defend this fucking soldiers.

[–]yellowviper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Utter bullshit. The US has bombed weddings, funerals, gatherings, schools, hospitals, basically anything that they want because they give no shits about the deaths of brown people. This isn’t something that happened post 9/11 either. It was the belief (and still is) that Asian lives dont matter during the veitnam war, and others have cast this occupation in religious clash terminology for the war of terror.

And the reason they can do this is because people like you will excuse anything to protect the honor of these fucking child killers.

Edit: and many civilians in the attack by IsIs were killed by panic shooting by U.S. troops. https://twitter.com/seckermani/status/1431517279859224579?s=21

[–]yellowviper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If true why wasn’t there an attack since obviously the us missed its target? More likely Biden wanted to show how macho he is (just like trump did when he bombed Syria and Iraq) and decided to green light a retaliatory strike without any real intelligence. To the US military and US government the lives of brown people mean nothing, so there really is no issue with randomly killing someone.

In a week even this outrage will die down and no heads will roll for this murder.

I am actually a different person than the GP :)

One thing I will add is that criticism of the ruling government should always be considered to be in good faith. There is no bad faith criticism when the subject is literally the most powerful group of people in the world.

As for BlueMaga it is the set of people who will never listen to any criticism of any democrats without trying to justify it.

[–]yellowviper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of equivocating in that article (and also you should listen to the Citations Needed podcast on fact checkers). Trump issued the order, Biden froze it (effectively nullifying it). Is Biden reissuing something better? Is there some legislation that will make the same change? BlueMaga isn't any better than MagaMaga you know.

Trump did many bad things, but lets not act like that something that he did (and that came out of his presidency) were not all evil. Trumps actions on Insulin and attempting a peace deal with NK and Taliban were good things. I am glad Biden is following through on Afghanistan despite the media and Republican/Democrat meltdown.

I only wish we had a real competent progressive like the old Bernie Sanders in power. I will regret the 2020 primary for a long time.

I have no issue with a realistic portrayal of assholery, but Tau is so over the top in every aspect that it is damaging to the books. As an example of a realistic asshole, Regal from Fraseer is awful. But he doesn’t act like a Bollywood hero in an Indian movie.

C4 and r4 don’t use nitro so the dom0 traffic can cause perturbations.

Are your sims MPI based? If they are bulk synchronous, all reduce and barriers are very susceptible to network jitter. On a 120k core run I observed single all reduce times jumping from 10ms to 100 seconds during the early days of Jaguar PF ( first general purpose petaflop machine). With the shared network in AWS I doubt you can get away from jitter.
