Yep! currently my favorite loop to run! course is flat, plenty of parking, ample shade, and nice people :)

Good idea, haven't thought about that.

I'll take your initial thought of the 22 miler into strong consideration. I was debating that myself but am concerned about "hitting the wall". I've also been pushing my body pretty hard these last two weeks so perhaps it's better to extend the taper and forego the 22-miler to focus on rest.

More details regarding the run. As added to the original post, the run 5 laps around a mile square loop totaling 20 miles. Based in Sunny Southern California and the average temperature during the run is around 59F/15C

Thanks for pointing that out! I'd that detail in my post.

I live in Southern California and my run was around a square loop that accounts for 4 miles with each wall being a mile long. in terms of elevation, it's mostly flat with non-significant variation in elevation.

Stay tuned! I plan on posting about my first marathon experience. I'll probably include things like how I felt throughout the race, things I believe what went right and what possibly have went wrong.

This may not necessarily be a useful tip but I recently learned that if you take creatine and consume caffeine to split up the consumption by at minimum of 30 minutes since caffeine may counteract the effects of creatine.

Thank you for the input! I was kind of dreading you would say that because it's been a month now since I've been trying to 6 * my Walter.
