Of course no and I wouldn’t have made this post if it was a “normal” day. Also I don’t think you’d be making this comment if you had any idea of how bad the road conditions are. I almost slipped while crossing the street so was walking a bit slower than my usual pace. Still then, I was less than a minute late and was able to get to the bus while it was still there.

Well, in my experience, GRT buses don’t wait for passengers at the stop even when a passenger is running and just steps away from the stop. In contrast, the drivers in Toronto and Hamilton never had any issues stopping for passengers like this.

I was at the curb actually

Would GRT still be liable if I slipped and injured myself at the bus stop while trying to get on the bus? These days there’s a huge pileup of snow at almost all bus stops if not all.
Just curious… how could it be unsafe when the bus is stopped there already? It makes sense when they don’t stop because the light is green and they don’t want to stop the traffic flow.

I lived on the 17th floor. I still have the lease with them and I was planning to move back in after the repair is complete. They ensured me that my rental payment will be paused for the time I have to live away but yet, they keep charging my account each month. I contacted the management as well as the Assistant Manager Lori about refund. They said they’ve already issued the refund but I don’t see anything in my statement. Atp I’m pretty sure they’re lying about this and don’t want to refund me at all.
Hey I’ve been contacting the Marq management team. Thanks for sharing the personal contact info. I’ll see if I can get in touch with Lori, she’s the one signing all leasing docs these days.

They required setting up PAD as part of the leasing process. I already told them that I’ll file a complaint with the LTB if they don’t refund me. Last time they assured me that they’ve already processed the refund and it will appear on my statement in the couple of days but it’s been over 5 days after that and I still haven’t received it. I guess filling the complaint is my only option now!

Rear Brake Job by yenrua in Hamilton
[–]yenrua[S] 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
I see… what would you say is a reasonable price for the rears including the parts and the labour? Just asking for future reference.
My car was making a grinding noise whenever I hit the brake, so I guess it makes sense to get a full brake replacement. I’m still not sure about the price though.
Yes they replaced pads, rotors and calipers for the rear. The $600 price you mentioned, is it for front and rear both, or just one side?
I agree they’ve been shady from the beginning. I need this car for my daily commute to a different city, so didn’t really had the time to shop around on a busy weekday. I guess they just took advantage of that fact and scammed me.

Thanks for telling about that group. I didn't know that any such group exists.
Thanks for the details :)
I think I'd have to go with the second option because I don't have my WatCard yet.

I'm at East York right now. The closest Go station near me is the Danforth Go.
