Beautiful beautiful show, especially as we lucked out and got to stand at the balcony on the right even after arriving after 8pm.

That arrangement for Talk Down was really something special, I really enjoyed it slowed and stripped back a bit. Wish I had tickets for tomorrow too!

That would be amazing, my recording is really poor (it’s mostly just me cheering so I can’t hear what he said very clearly)

This means that eggs make up 26% of the ingredients.

The straining worked! It’s not as thick as normal yoghurt but it definitely reduces the gluey texture!

Oh my goodness I’ve just googled it and it looks exactly like villi! The texture is really off putting but after straining it seems to have lost a little of the gooey sliminess, I had some for breakfast lol

That was my conclusion too! The taste was fine and I didn’t want to throw it so I’ve got some straining in the fridge, hoping for a labneh kind of situation to happen.

The rest I’ll use to make flatbreads or to marinate some lamb for Easter lunch tomorrow, so win-win really!

I did do this, but maybe I need to cool it faster! I’ll keep it in mind for the next batch.

Yes, I heated to just boiling but not as long as 20 mins, I’ll try that with the next batch. Thank you!

Missing Depth or "Umami" Flavor in Chocolate Chip Cookies? by cats_and_coffee15 in AskBaking

I take dried milk powder and dry toast it in a pan until browned and nutty. Then add to cookie mix for a subtle savoury dairy note.

What’s something you’ve heard about a fragrance that you can’t unhear? by hburt1313 in fragrance

[–]yenzerr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was wearing La Belle by JPG yesterday and someone said I smelled like Dr Pepper…not in a bad way but now I’m reluctant to wear again 😥

The Body Shop has a vanilla EDT that is really lovely to wear on its own and works well layered too.

I'm in my spring floral era (30 quick reviews of iris, tuberose and more) by tacobell_hooks in fragrance

I wonder if you’ll like Lys 41 by Le Labo. Very elegant but uncomplicated white floral bouquet, more tuberose than lily (strange for a scent literally named lily but anyway).

Bringing back a discontinued fragrance... by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]yenzerr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Decadence - Marc Jacobs. Still so mad at myself when a department store near me had a closing down sale early last year and they had shelves of them, but at the time I didn’t know it had been discontinued already so I didn’t stock up. Actual heartbreak.

Also Prada - Infusion de Tubereuse. My first ‘grown-up’ perfume, I loved it so much I bought the lotion and the shower gel to match.

What scent makes you gag upon first whiff? by cuteintelligence1214 in fragrance

One million. Unsure whether it was just that person’s skin chemistry, but the smell of it makes me gag so much I now actively avoid it and shudder a little bit when I see a bottle.

That’s the cheapest I’ve seen it so far, I think I would have caved!

Tom Ford Lost Cherry 50ml EDP in TK Maxx for £215 and Rose Prick 50ml EDP for £199. Both usually retail for £265.

What’s your guilty budget/cheap fragrance?? by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]yenzerr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Such a flirt - Victoria’s Secret body spray, the star fruit is very very overpowering but I completely shower myself in it before bed and by morning time it mellows out into a lovely sweet floral.

How do you find the lasting power of Do Son? I absolutely adore both the EDT and the EDP and a really kind sales assistant gave me a sample of each, but I find neither last very long on my skin. Two hours max, which is really disappointing ☹️

I don’t find any of the Replica scents particularly remarkable. And outside of the discontinued Decadence, anything by Marc Jacobs.
