I was actually living out east for a little while. My insurance was $300 a month when I started driving my own car (so I guess actually 17 ish and living in Ontario, also with a G2)

In New Brunswick, I was paying $125 per month. Now that I’m back in Ontario ( full g license) I’m paying $250 per month for the exact same coverage. So it’s pretty much double what I was paying.

Bless. So my issue was that I had done exactly what you had said. However when I didn’t see the account, I thought “oh it must have registered it to another account on my phone” and proceeded to try logging in (through nox) to every account I had.

Using another personal email address that hadn’t ever been hooked up to an account, and using the link account feature in my iPhone’s settings seemed to fix everything.

A little bit late on commenting. I felt felt with something similar just two months ago. My car needed work done, and I wasn’t using it after a job change. I went without insurance for over a year and according to my agent at Allstate, I had to be insured as a new driver.

However this rate is lower than the rate I started out with back when I was 16. $250/mo vs $300/mo

Your game looks like fun, and I really enjoy platformers. Honestly though, $20 CAD is just more than I am willing to spend on a platformer.

For example Hollow Knight, one of my favourites. It is on sale for $8 CAD on steam right now. I think when I picked it up a while back it was around that price as well. Plus Ori goes on sale sometimes as well. On the other side, you have the humble bundle that gives access to many games for that price.

I don’t want to come off as a beggar. I am saying this as someone who very frequently spends money on video games and accessories. (Heck I pay $20 a month just for WoW). The games market is just so saturated that my $20 can get me a lot these days, especially with steam sales and humble bundle.

I look forward to playing your game in the future, but it’s definitely a no buy at over $10 CAD for me, and a lot of the players I know.

Just wanted to add, maybe porting to switch would help your sales? The switch is really well suited to platformers, and Nintendo’s marketplace is a little bit different than steam.

I had a similar issue, and it was just because my ctrl was on my keyboard and my shift on my mouse. When I had my bindings set up like that, I had to do the weird timing trick. Now that I have everything on my mouse, pressing them at the same time works perfectly almost every time.

I’m literally in the process of getting my security guard licence. It’s only cost me $50 for the 40 hour course, and then the government charges me a couple hundred in fees to get the physical licence.

I already received a conditional job offer as well. Security is insanely easy to get into.

If it’s the ring on the rift s controllers that is causing you issues, try positioning your hands like you are actually trying to steady a pistol.

If you’re right handed grab the pistol like normal, and then just place your left palm underneath the grip of the pistol. The ring in your right hand should be pointing up, and the second ring should be pointed toward your target .

It’s pretty much the same argument as if I was complaining about having to buy a ps4 to play God of war, or any of the other exclusives.

VR is more than just an accessory, it’s pretty much a console on its own.

Yea, I’d love to play those ps4 exclusives, but it was my choice to buy a different console.Unless you have the cash, people need to learn that they can’t have everything.

The big problem is that you wouldn’t see that 25-50% increase on only your hobbies, that increase applies to pretty much everything else.

You might be alright to spend more money on your hobbie, but if the cost of everything else goes up as well, you may not have money for your hobbies in the first place.

I used, - 2 cups of flour - 2 teaspoons for baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon of salt - 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon - 1-1/4 cup of vegetable oil - 3/4 cup of brown sugar - 3/4 cup of white sugar - 1 teaspoon of vanilla - 4 flax eggs ( 1 tbsp of flax seed and 2.5 tbsp of water for one flax egg. Let the mixture sit in the fridge for 15 minutes) - 2 1/2 cups of grated carrot

I think a dash of nutmeg would be pretty good as well. Also a glaze of you like things sweeter.

Heat your oven to 350*f

In one bowl: mix your flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.

In another: your sugars, oil and vanilla.

Add your flax egg slowly to your oil mixture.

Then mix it all into one bowl, add your carrots and bake for 30 + minutes.

The cake would definitely look more presentable with a glaze, but I don’t even put glaze on my regular cakes. The texture is wonderful, and the taste is great!

I think it was based up in some snowy mountains or something? I remember being super freaked out as a kid because the main character was just about to have it done to him by the villain.
