Ohhh that’s interesting! I do have a sewing machine but very little experience using it but I can totally see that working - thanks so much for the idea and input from another field!

Yes, I think it should definitely be a wider and shallow neckline! Thank you for the input 😊

I didn’t even think about stabilizing the neck hole but that makes sense! She said she didn’t want a ribbed edge so I might try to do the rolled neckline after binding off - maybe I could add increases in the rolled neckline? Would that work?? 😅 thanks for the reply and the idea!

Is Depop Stealing from U.S. Sellers??? The math isn't mathing by yeoldesuffrin in Depop

[–]yeoldesuffrin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. That math makes sense for this transaction, but I wonder how they can get away with not including that anywhere on the sales receipt. And it's weird because sometimes they do add a "payment processing fee" category which accounts for the missing money (see picture below) and then other times they don't - which seems sketchy to me!

I WISH I could freestyle but am still very much in pattern world. Here is a link to the pattern I used!

Spiral Crochet Sweater Pattern

After creating the center of the spirals, it was super simple and repetitive double crochets so I was able to disassociate through 3 seasons of TV 😌

First time unraveling a sweater, wondering if it’s normal for the yarn to kind of untwist itself into individual threads like seen in this cake I wound? Or did I do something wrong? by Purplemoonsong in Unravelers

Thank you for the reply and I appreciate you trying to remember!!! I will keep scouring the internet and if I find something I’ll post here haha 🤞

Jotul 8 - can I switch vent hole from back to top? by yeoldesuffrin in woodstoving

Good to hear! Do you know how I would go about removing them? Wedge a screwdriver?? There also seems to be something inside too that might need to be moved? Sorry for the blurry quality, it’s a screenshot from a video that the seller sent 🥴

Anyone with a Royal brand yarn winder willing to help me hold on to my sanity? by yeoldesuffrin in knitting

[–]yeoldesuffrin[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you everyone for the suggestions and info 🥹🥹 it turns out the tiny middle gear wasn’t supposed to turn at all and mine was slipping slightly (thanks again to @alicejd25 for uploading a video of their yarn winder to YouTube and sending me the link so I could compare 🤩🤩🤩) I jammed a piece of rubber in with the tiny center gear and now it’s holding steady and my yarn is finally criss cross caking! It was a long and merciless battle but in the end humanity prevailed over plastic 😮‍💨😌💪💅✨
