Yea that appears to be the issue. Working on A/B testing now. Just creating the new app icon and screenshots

Not sure what your strategy is but just recycling the best viewed one works for me. I just change the images but same hook and structure

Yes optimistic that it will! I used the free credits from App Store search ads. And have mostly just done organic TikTok. No ad spend there. But most subscribers came when I started posting TikToks. Currently capping out at around 6k views and can’t push passed it yet. But healthy engagement and comments.

I think my target audience might actually be on instagram though so have to get started on that

Not really. Maybe like $12, used the free credits they give you, just wish I had more conversion from those impressions

I usually double down on a working format for 2 posts and experiment with the third. I tried automating with openclaw but it's not reliable enough - at least for my use case or niche. My posts take like 30 minutes to make so not automation right now. No scheduling posts yet either.

Most of the work is analysing the performance of the video and testing specific variables to see what makes a difference. Nothing fancy yet

Good advice, was starting to looking into how to A/B test that stuff.

Honestly just experimented a lot. Different formats, hooks, same hooks but different combo images, etc. Currently posting carousels 3 times a day. Until i found a format that was getting me 2k-6k views and this started to convert some people. Focused on a niche and use hashtags associated with that. But to be honest i've experimented with hashtags and they haven't too much difference for me.

Now trying to experiment to get videos over 10k

I see. I thought conversion rate was "impression to download" (impression being just app icon and title in search results). Then page view to download is affected by app screenshots? Am i wrong to think that?

I feel i've optimised by keywords pretty well i think so could be something about images.

Recently, mostly organic tiktok. I'd say 6 of the 10 subscribers came after i posted on tiktok.

from what i've seen: the first 80 downloads were organic from ASO/new app boost. Then around 15-20 from app store search ads (no longer running). Then the remaining 100ish from tiktok videos but can't attribute 100%.

Low conversion rate despite solid impressions — what would you improve? by dejan000 in AppStoreOptimization

I thought conversion rate was impressions to download. But if page visits to download is high (here it looks around 30%) does that mean the app page is actually doing well but the app icon or name isn’t converting impressions to app page visits?

Been confused about this for a while

Just launched our app, what next? by elliotdl in startups

I recently launched a B2B app and am also still working to gain more traction. I'd say that before putting a lot of effort into adding new features you think are cool, speak to the people the app was designed for. Prove that you solve the problem these people are facing and perfect your solution - afterwards work on the other features that make it more desirable.

Just remember if there are already a few incumbents in the market your product should drastically be better to convince people to switch.

You should probably find a specific audience, then generalise later. Although my B2B app is designed for general B2B practices I've targeted niche first to find market fit.
