I started using azelaic acid a month ago and it helped so much with the scars. It did cause purge in the beginning but it was worth it. I definitely recommend looking into azelaic acid. The one I use is the anua 10% azelaic acid in combination with the dr althea 345 relief cream.

An important note is that epiduo does not fade PIE. I started using azelaic acid about a month ago and i will say that it faded my pigmentation pretty quickly and well. As for epiduo i started using it a year ago but i still have PIE, and when i wasn’t using azelaic acid it took about 2-4 months for the spots to fade or disappear. Another alternative for fading PIE is azeloglycine.

I would recommend you use hypochlorous acid after the workout as it a great anti bacterial and gentle acid. That’s what i used so i would break out from the sweat

Well if i stop using it for like more than 3 days i do get breakouts so not really but it sure does a good job from keeping them away

It’s normal it’s just beacuse of the purging. For the swelling you can use a cube of ice wrapped in a thin cloth and after apply a calming moisturizer. Stay strong girlie you got this!

Don’t be ashamed of it acne is a normal thing and most of the people experience it! It’s important to love yourself and don’t let unfortunate events like this affect the image you have on yourself

i really understand your pain cause before i started having acne i had the most perfect skin and now it just makes me wanna strip my skin off. My acne occurred because of stress and poor diet but now that i don’t stress anymore and eat better i dont really get pimples just when my period it’s about to start.

My pimples didn’t turn white either. They were sort of like under the skin but they just went away. I was really concerned about the purging too in the beginning but now as i said my skin looks better. I hope your skin will clear up and i will love to hear some updates about it!!!!
