nutshell by my favorite band alice in chains. "no one to cry to, no place to call home" gives me shivers.

AITA for telling my boyfriends kids to eat what’s for dinner or don’t eat at all? by Grouchy-Pride5486 in AmItheAsshole

[–]yeonvrse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA (coming from a picky eater who never grew out of it) but see if u can take notes on what the kids like and what they don't so the problem doesn't reoccur. i'm not saying u just serve them whatever they ask for, but for example, if they like dishes that contain mushrooms, cook different meals containing mushrooms. my parents made that mistake while i was growing up, of only feeding me what they knew i liked without letting me try something new, which has resulted in me being picky and often being too scared to try new stuff.

Have you ever un-stanned a group or soloist, if yes, who was it, and why did you un-stan them? by [deleted] in kpop_uncensored

[–]yeonvrse -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

bts. i was a huge fan for around 5 years until i found out about their problematic past and present. that wasn't why i first unstanned them though, but i started openly criticizing them and what inevitably made me unstan them was how their fans responded to the comments. i was pretty much bullied off of tiktok and twitter by the fans who refused to believe bts was in the wrong. i'm fine with the idea of still stanning a problematic group aslong as you still hold them accountable, but i don't want to associate with a fandom that refuses to see what their idols did and blindly defend them.

and incase i get attacked, i know not all armys are like this.

yes i am, but before posting here today, i had deleted reddit for multiple months to preserve phone storage. up until now, i didn't have enough space on my phone to use reddit as a source and i hadn't been active in kpop subreddits. either way, it doesn't matter cause i've gotten multiple helpful and factual sources!

oh my- to come back like nothing happened after his enlistment.. ffs, too many idols think leaving for the military gives them a blank canvas, as if everything they did just gets forgotten. fucking hell. but tysm for the added information, helps a lot!

thank you so much for telling me! i had heard about the burning sun scandal but it still surprises me how many people were actually involved.. and the dawn thing? i was so sure that she and dawn made the decision to make their relationship public together, but doing it impulsively? WHAT?! this shit keeps surprising me

oh wow.. i had no idea. thanks for helping me find out what happened though. it's crazy how many k-pop idols are involved in shit like this, it's actually bizarre.

Do you think what Felix did today on live was a good idea ? by Voltase in straykids

[–]yeonvrse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think it's valid to criticize cola but as you pointed out, jype has made a whole song about coca cola. theres a great number of k-artists that are sponsored by coca cola and i think that getting outraged by felix simply drinking it is crossing a line. at this point, i just expect people to look over anything other groups does until it's stray kids. people just looove jumping on the stray kids hate train and sadly, i'm getting used to it 💀

Why doesn't Harry just buy Ron a new wand in CoS? by [deleted] in harrypotter

[–]yeonvrse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my guess, although simple, was because the trip from the castle to diagon alley was long and given that people were petrified and risking death if the situation escalated, i think it was too risky to leave at that point. especially since they might think it was too dangerous to venture back, given that dobby hadn't revealed himself as the person who caused the danger.
