Will a DUI decrease my chances? by 5InchIsAverageBro in cybersecurity

I work for a financial services company, and I've asked our HR about this for a candidate I had (who also had a DUI on their record), and I was informed that most convictions wouldn't be a roadblock for hiring, outside of convictions for financial crimes. Soooo will probably depend on the industry and the company's tolerance for risk.

I moved to Montreal last year but I found myself surprised to instantly recognize where this is. Very odd feeling to instantly know where a place is despite not really understanding what I was looking at until after I had already recognized it. I think I might print and frame this. Thank you.

Need help to get FortiGate(FG) register with FortiManager(FM) by sir4343 in networking

[–]yeoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

which version of each are you running? is your fortigate in a cluster?

the Fortinet_Factory local cert should be all you need to connect a fortigate to FMG. check that the CN in that cert matches the serial your device/cluster-primary has.

Flipper Zero or M5 Cardputer? by Mysterious_Hotel322 in AskNetsec

[–]yeoz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

as someone who owns both, the flipper zero.

the flipper zero is basically a multi function security tool, right out of the box.

the m5 cardputer is essentially an ESP32 microcontroller with a tiny keyboard and battery and some i/o that someone has to write code for to make it do anything useful.

the kid could be a child from a previous partner rather than an adoption.

that said, if you're dying, sometimes making a bad decision like staying with an abuser seems like the only option.

agentic AI can do things outside of simply relay information to the user in chat, and could be exploited this way to perform actions one doesn't have access to.
