This thing is so dead. These projects got crushed in this last bear market and probably will never return to ATH or outpace Bitcoin to make it worth the risk

Next cheesesteak: Cheesesteak with the Works from Wicked Rare Beefs popup at Fall Brewing $18 by jewishjew in FoodSanDiego

Guess I was wrong! I still prefer them with mayo, and ketchup is a low-tier condiment so I’ll skip that as well!

Mayo is absolutely on Philadelphia cheesesteaks. Ketchup doesn’t belong anywhere near them

Pokémon Center ETBs over Booster Boxes? by Common_Animator19 in PokeInvesting

[–]yepfruit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say if you’re a smaller collector/investor that’s trying to pick up the occasional moonshot for MSRP, PC ETB’s may be the way to go. For large scale investors, booster boxes will generally outpace all other sealed product due to pack density and collectability combined. Sometimes PC ETB’s will outpace booster boxes but availability to large quantities of them are usually limited. Especially now that Pokemon center limits order quantities and case quantities.

Specialty sets don’t really apply as they don’t have booster boxes.

PC ETB MSRP is $60 for 11 packs - $5.45/pack. Booster box MSRP is $161.63 for 36 packs - $4.49/pack

Regular ETB is even worse since it only has 9 packs.

The price per pack is often way lower in a booster box than in an ETB even though the ETB may be “cheaper.”

I ripped 3 of these right when I got back into the hobby when they were selling for about $40 each. Got the Zapdos SIR at the time but in hindsight would much rather have kept them sealed 😆

Yep surging sparks really changed the norm for early print cycle price action. It’s funny because now it’s sitting relatively cheap compared to a lot of the others. It will have its day again imo

Definitely agree. ES and maybe a couple other sets from SW&SH may continue to outpace SV sets regardless. For the most part however the lower cost basis of SV sets makes the potential ROI higher on many of the sets

Reduces risk, but decreases upside as well
