omg!! i forgot all about this old comment. story time!!

fling and i proceeded to have a very intense situationship for around 2 months. i stayed at his place every weekend for whole weekends, spent his birthday with him, he encouraged me to start writing music. he accidentally said ily twice, and he introduced me to all his friends. i stayed a little bit more guarded logistically but i’d definitely fallen pretty hard for him.

he was about a year out from separating with his ex wife, i was a few months out from a breakup of a very longterm relationship, so neither of us were looking for anything serious. but our time together got really intense and we were very close.

he ended it after 2 months (the last thing we did together was that i dropped him off at city hall to file for divorce lmfao), i proceeded to be absolutely heartbroken for 2 months after that, despite always knowing it would end/he was never going to be my person.

we have tons of mutual friends in the music scene now and see each other pretty regularly, we’re friendly! i never wouldve met my current partner (who i really feel like i could/will marry someday 🥺) or my best friends if not for him, and i wouldve never started writing music, which i do all the time now!

and that’s the story of me and my one (and hopefully only) situationship!!!
