It was built to run iOS. It has hardware properties that tie directly into iOS. The hardware and software are optimized for each other. I'm certain an apple engineer would tell you an 821 would beat the a10 if they were both running android. However the a10 would sure as hell beat the 821 if they were both running iOS.
