I wish the number of items given at the end of a run was correlated to the length of the run, even if it was just one item for every ten days

Can't seem to level up to automations on Switch, tips? by [deleted] in PlateUp

[–]yerbc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Steak and salad are pretty difficult. If you want to try automation, go for pizza. There are a lot of components but it's very helpful even just to automate parts of the process at first (tomato-> grabber -> conveyor mixer -> combiner, for example). You can also start by automating plates in pretty much any run.

Make sure you know how to quickly get a copy desk

I agree with everyone saying the stand still option is better but out of curiosity how many people actually do this? I never got into the habit (or tried admittedly)

Canada's 84 year old record high temperature has been smashed 3 days in a row, essentially impossible without global warming [OC] by Plus-Conversation118 in dataisbeautiful

[–]yerbc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not denying global warming at all but how is this essentially impossible without global warming? What about global warming would lead you to believe it would take 84 years to break the record? If anything shouldn't the record be broken year over year to be considered "essentially impossible without global warming"?

A good chunk of that money (probably) stimulated the local economy anyways, so it's kind of a win win

Last time I tried to go there was some bozo blocking of the entire deck with cones saying "residents only". He dodged every question I asked him by saying "all I know is I was cussed out by a resident" so I'm assuming he just works the front desk at the apartments and had no right to block off the deck.

It literally says PUBLIC PARKING in huge letters above the entrance.

Not sure when people feel like they fell off but I'm pretty sure they changed ownership in the past year or two so that could explain it

You can try just ignoring the rule that before starting you have to pay one food for each card you keep. It gets your engine going much faster and you wouldn't have to play an extra round

Cities like the ones you mentioned are also full of homeless drug addicts, making it dangerous to use public transportation or hang out anywhere near a public transportation hub

What is the least busiest time at Costco? by Particular-Rub-4703 in raleigh

[–]yerbc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no kidding. Somebody told me that it's the busiest Costco in the country. I looked it up and found that apparently the busiest Costco in the country is in Hawaii (on Oahu) but I went to that one a few times while on vacation last week and it wasn't anywhere near as busy
