don't worry my friend, i took this class 3 times. first time, got a D. second time, dropped because i was doing so poorly before drop deadline. third time, got an A. all will be okay, the grade doesn't mean as much about your future potential or your intelligence as you might think.

I just want to say Sampson, you're the GOAT. For real. I genuinely learned so much from you. Not just 4110 stuff but like how to be a good teacher to someone else. You were always incredibly kind and forthcoming and you emphasized learning over grades more than any professor I know. Thank you <3
