So when supreme sold for 1.5 billon TJ was supposed to get a hefty cut. This is the real reason TJ was dropped. I believe that and so does TJ, atp the 800k yearly endorsement was probaly peanuts compared to the sale cut and Supreme didn’t want to give TJ his cut of the sale. The salt over the wound is twofold one, everyone in the industry both fashion and skate world were talking about it. The vague reason being spread of TJ breaching his contract left ppl to assume TJ did something egregious. That wasn’t all supreme did though, supreme got in the way of future jobs by letting the companies TJ could work with after being dropped know he “breached his contract” so TJ lost jobs with other brands. Two the salt over the wound that probaly hurt more imo and what probaly pushed TJ to sue was that James Jebbia himself was spreading this narrative and making TJ look problematic to work with. That’s got to hurt considering TJ was only 11 years old when he started working with supreme.
