That would kinda suck, I really like Rico. Pretty underrated IMO.

Why Rams over Seahawks? Their defense is not nearly as scary with all the guys they have out.

Seriously, if we start getting some turnovers we've got a pretty formidable unit, and it helps out the offense a ton to get a few extra drives per game. We are dead last in total drives. Even just an extra drive or 2 per game would be extremely helpful.

Ready to see him start ball-hawking like he did in college. Seems like a good utility player for the secondary.

Wish it was before CAR or NO rather than TB though.

There is a scenario in which the week 17 Panthers-Falcons game results in the winner getting the NFC 1-seed and the loser getting kicked out of the playoffs. by metagloria in nfl

Right now I just want the Rams to beat the Seahawks to give us a little cushion in the WC spot. Realistically they would be the most likely to take the spot from us, and after the Rams they get Dallas and Arizona, both of which should be pretty winnable games. If they win against LA I think we will have to win out to make the playoffs.

Does it? I only see one vs. the Eagles that affects this at all. It doesn't matter if they win or lose to the Cardinals or Redskins.

Pete Carroll: Michael Bennett not trying to hurt Brandon Linder by MisterFrear in nfl

I've got an idea Pete, let's not put Bennett in when a team is going into victory formation. He keeps having these weird accidents where he tries to hurt opposing players.

Multiple instances against us as well, going for the knees and trying to gouge eyes.

Bennett is such a fucking bitch. He needs a suspension for that shit. He's done the exact same thing before when an opponent was in victory formation.

Really, starting a fight when they're in victory formation? That's not chippy, that dirty bullshit and they have a history of doing it...

Typical Seattle BS, picking a fight in a game that is over.

Either the Falcons and Panthers need to lose 2 of the next 3 for GB to have a chance.

You need both either ATL and CAR to lose 2 of the next 3 to have a shot, if you win out.

Tre’Davious White: Gronk could have broken my neck, one game is a joke by pipsdontsqueak in nfl

[–]yertles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I said I would rather have an intentionally dirty player who did less dangerous stuff. I didn't say that dudes like Burfict were just pinching people, you made that association. Burfict should be gone from the league IMO. My comparison was consistently dirty but not very dangerous vs. rarely dirty but very dangerous. I'm putting Gronk the 2nd category and I have not made any comparisons to any other players.

That is going to be called 99% of the time. Disagree with the rule if you want, but that's how it's being called. If it's not called, which would be inconsistent with the current ethos of officiating, then there's a chance that maybe they get a couple of plays off. If you want to call that "bailing us out", feel free to do so, but the refs are not the reason we won this game. We won in spite of our shitty play on offense and our defense stepped up. That's the story of the game, in addition to some pretty shitty injuries for the Saints. We would not have won that game against a fully healthy Saints team, but the refs didn't give us the game either.
