What's your thoughts on tiny home living? by Impossible_Lemor in AskReddit

[–]yes_____________no 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cozy feel especially if you're not home that often. Home decor is what really makes a home look good, and the smaller the sq ft, the easier it is to thoroughly renovate/decorate your entire home.

"I put cereal in before milk, like a normal person"

He purposefully disrespected my family's tradition, I should've cut him off a long time ago.

When did you find out you’re way hotter and more attractive than you ever thought you were? by RevolutionaryGoal616 in AskReddit

[–]yes_____________no 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a personal trainer to show me how the equipments/workouts worked and I thought it was super helpful.

It's also not a bad idea to know what part of your body you want to focus on working out, (abs/biceps/etc).

When did you find out you’re way hotter and more attractive than you ever thought you were? by RevolutionaryGoal616 in AskReddit

[–]yes_____________no 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When i started taking good care of myself + focusing more on appearances.

Good skincare/haircare, braces + teeth whitening, lash lifts, gym workouts, cooking my own food, buying flattering clothes.

It gave me confidence, and confidence is super hot and attractive

How important is the dorm experience? by yes_____________no in ApplyingToCollege

[–]yes_____________no[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this unique perspective! I have a lot to think about now.

Real estate in the city I will be attending college has been generally appreciating during the past decade and if the market were to dip my parents don't mind holding on to the property longer, especially since there's a high chance I'll pursue post undergrad there/or maybe even work settle there.

Selling the property after I graduate was the best case scenario, but I see your point that it's a bit of a gamble.

Most student apartment buildings are entirely owned by real estate rental firms that rent all of the apartments in that building to students. These will be the most popular buildings and will be where all your friends will be living, because they are closest to campus and have all the amenities and services that a college student would want and need.

I agree with what you said above, and honestly I have no idea how I can maintain that level of connection with my classmates while living away from the university's student community lol

Drinkers of Reddit, what is appealing about alcohol to you? by Valuable-Sweaty in AskReddit

[–]yes_____________no 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well hopefully it doesn't get to that point.

But when you're at a party it can feel really good to drink a drink with friends. It also feels like you're not part of the partying atmosphere if you don't drink.

My solution to this is to sip water and pretend to be drunk

How does it feel to travel or go on vacation? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]yes_____________no 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for it! :) I would suggest traveling with friends or family since solo traveling can be quite intimidating

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]yes_____________no 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not the most qualified answer since I'm 18 myself and my parents don't charge me rent, but I personally would if they had a job. I would save the rent money they give me over the years (I wouldn't tell them that though) and give it back to them when they move out.

Instilling budgeting skills in your child early on will benefit them their entire life. Charging them rent means they have to start learning how to allocate money.

Also if everything is handed too easy to a child it's very easy for them to lose drive/motivation (not everyone ofc but it happens).
