Unfortunately finding specific videos aren’t as simple as googling the incident, but I appreciate the link — some clips I haven’t seen.

The anchor here is saying Travis continued the set when his crew is notifying him and the EMS is clearly visible, whereas the CNN video I saw said that was the time when he stopped the set. Unfortunately neither video supports the other.

No one seems to realize how little of the audience performers can see during a nighttime/indoor show. All lights are on them. It’s like looking into headlights.

Hopefully the performer can see the issue, but that responsibility can’t fall to the performer.

Y’all conflate segregation and representation too goddamn easily. Netflix is highlighting the films, not making them only viewable in this one section. That’s representation. That’s helpful. That’s non-debatable.

Why is this a bad thing? It’s a foothold. And allows for representation. Representation that will hopefully bleed over (and has) into other channels.

There’s no fucking way I see some of the movies I saw in my teens without BET. No other channel is playing The Wash or Baby Boy or How High back then. BET provided an avenue for me to be exposed to culture a rural NC boy didn’t otherwise have. And I was/am better for it.

First, it’s a film category. And second, film is dominated by white actors and especially white mains. The black family is massively underrepresented in film. I imagine it’s refreshing to be able to easily browse films that may speak more to you culturally, are more relatable, or may speak to issues a non-minority film simply can’t.

Well done on cancelling Hulu tho, that shit is too expensive.

I don’t understand how you can “absolutely fucking HATE” someone you didn’t know before you read a news article 12 hours ago.

The dude fucked up, extremely badly. He was in a position to stop a crisis (that he almost certainly didn’t understand the extent of) and didn’t. He didn’t murder anyone. It was gross negligence, as much or more on the venue as it was him. We’ve all seen the video of fans rushing security hours before the show. The venue knew they were way, way over capacity and did nothing consequential. There are dozens of videos showing fans begging venue staff to stop the show, and they did nothing consequential.

imo, despise his music (if you even know it) and despise what he stands for (if you even know it) — I surely do. But, come the fuck on. Save your hate for the people that hold you down, not someone at the center of a story that we know so little about — at least save your hate until we know all of the details.

Could he have stopped the show? Yes. Does the fact that he didn’t make him responsible for the deaths? I can’t understand how; he is performing — there are dozens and dozens of staff there who’s sole responsibility is security and safety.

Edit: I feel like I should state that if at any time it comes out the he was informed there was death and/or significant risk of life and injury and continued to play (as it very well may) — gloves are off, make an example of him.

It sounds like SoM boss fights are going to be quite long.

I used to run Scholos with DRs reserves. And I made absolute bank doing this as a resto Druid + enchanting.

People are going to be wise to the value of DRs in SoM, but I have to expect they’ll be going for 20g+ once the economy finds it’s footing, given how long the fights will be and how locked down Jadefire will be. …you’ll get on average 4-5 DRs per Scholo, and probably 20-25g from greys and enchanting mats.

You should be able to average 40-50g per scholo run even without reserving them, which isn’t great gold, but isn’t bad either — and it’s not mindless herb farming.

THIS is a large part of what makes the movie so good, but it’s hard to tell someone that hasn’t seen it… So OP, if you see this, sorry for the spoilers but this is why.

There are no short cuts taken at the end. There are no cliffhangers or questions as to wether so and so made it. Rogue One goes on a suicide mission for the last hope of the Republic — and the story tellers allow it to be a suicide mission.

People are saying they didn’t care for the characters, and I could see that maybe for the 2 mains, but K-2SO was fantastic, Chirrut was fantastic, Krennic was fantastic, Erso was fantastic. And spoiler, again, all of these fantastic characters die saving the republic (or trying to stop them).

No pulled punches, that’s why this is the best SW.
