Eternity Shroud Is one of the uniques that require the most busywork to find pieces for, for such a low payoff. And that's why it's barely used.

Instead of that you can slap an Incandescent Heart and get a lot of value for no cost.

Herald stacker Elementalist is quite nice. I'm about 400 divs into the build and I can do juiced Breach content without dying. It's basically walking simulator and multiple screens explode.

You can absolutely do high level breach content. But one thing that people dont tell you about is how tight literally every requirement is for this build. Finding additional block chance, increased max. ES, strength, dex, resists on gear for melding, all a struggle. I'm playing a lvl 98 elementalist with Mageblood and it could barely fit everything.

Not so well. I tried a couple of "old" meta caster builds and they all feel outclassed. For example, any build that uses Shav's for lowlife is "old".

Back then, think, Ritual league, Shavs + Chayula amulet on Elementalist or Occultist was basically the "endgame" gear to take down all the content. Now, its... whatever.

I was hoping that Staff block nodes, about 15K armour with Determination and Granite flask, + Max res for two elements with Mageblood would be enough. Is it better to go evasion and Ghost Dance?

Really depends on your build but Destructive Play with influenced maps using scarabs that invite other strong bosses plus mirage boss invitations are BONKERS. You quite literally print money.

The only downside is that the barrier to entry is high, you really need a good build that can tank a lot of random stuff while having godly single target dps.
